One-Year, Full-Time Visiting Professor in Cognitive Science at Pomona College

The Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science at Pomona College invites applications for a one-year, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor in cognitive science, beginning Fall 2025. Applicants from any area of specialization within cognitive science are welcome to apply. The position has a teaching load of five courses over two semesters that contribute to the interdisciplinary Cognitive Science major, including Introduction to Cognitive Science and other courses that utilize the successful candidate's areas of expertise. Pomona College is the founding member of the Claremont Colleges (Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, Pomona, and Scripps), liberal arts colleges located 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. This position is not eligible for travel and moving expenses, nor visa sponsorship. You must show proof of authorization to work in the U.S. The salary range is $70,000-78,000 and is commensurate with experience.
