Tenure-track Assistant Professor - The Department of Psychology at the University at Albany, SUNY

The Department of Psychology at the University at Albany, SUNY, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Cognitive Psychology/Neuroscience.

 

Successful candidates are expected to conduct research on fundable topics related to normal or impaired cognition. Research should focus on general processes underlying attention, perception and/or memory. Preference will be given to candidates who measure neurophysiological correlates of cognition (such as EEG or pupillometry) and/or use computational modeling. However, we also welcome applications from candidates who do not use these methods. Candidates should also demonstrate the capacity for high quality undergraduate and graduate teaching and research mentoring in Cognitive Psychology/Neuroscience.
