Inez Beverly Prosser Psi Chi Scholarship for Women of Color

Dr. Prosser (1895-1934) is considered to be the first African American woman to earn a PhD in psychology and Psi Chi has agreed to create a $3,000 scholarship and will match donations until they reach the required $50,000 that will fully endow this scholarship. This scholarship will honor Dr. Prosser’s legacy and serve as a mechanism to empower students to complete their education and pursue an advanced degree in psychology. For more information, click here.
