The study manager will primarily work with the principal investigator (Stephen Becker, PhD) on a new R01 research project funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH; pending). The study will use a prospective longitudinal design across early adolescence to examine sluggish cognitive tempo symptoms as a predictor of internalizing outcomes (depression, anxiety, suicidality). Using a developmental psychopathology framework, this study will incorporate physiological assessment and behavioral tasks in addition to information collected from adolescents, parents, and teachers.

We are looking for an experienced research coordinator to work with the PI to manage the study, including participating in study activities including recruitment, scheduling, assessments (including diagnostic assessments, IQ testing, and physiological assessment), data management, regulatory documentation, and oversight of research coordinators and undergraduate research assistants. The right person will demonstrate a high level of initiative and independence, flexibility, and have experience in research coordinator activities. Previous clinical training (e.g., Master’s in clinical or counseling psychology) would also be highly desirable.
