Oregon State University: Open Rank Faculty Search in Clinical Psychology
Oregon State University (OSU) School of Psychological Science is accepting applications for three full-time, 9-month, tenure-track positions as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in Clinical Psychology, starting Fall 2022 in Corvallis, Oregon. The School currently has thriving undergraduate and graduate programs and offers a PhD in Psychology with Health, Applied Cognition, and Engineering Psychology concentration areas. We plan to launch a new Clinical Science PhD program and will seek dual accreditation from APA and Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS). The three new faculty are expected to play a major role in shaping the focus, rigor, and community impact of this training program. There are many opportunities for collaboration across the School and OSU, and through a college cluster hire in Indigenous Studies, and regional partnership with Hispanic/Non-Tribal Native-Serving institutions. The candidates’ duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, mentoring students in research, providing clinical supervision, establishing and maintaining a productive and fundable research program, and providing university and professional service. Minimum qualifications include: Doctoral degree (Clinical Psychology PhD preferred) in psychology; license eligible to practice psychology in the State of Oregon; a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity; evidence of a productive research program; and evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring.
