Tenure Track Position at Georgetown University

The psychology department has a tenure track position open for a Provost’s fellow specializing in Racial Justice and Inequality.

We are seeking an outstanding scholar conducting quantitative or qualitative research on the causes, experiences, or consequences of racial injustice and disparities in education, health, and/or mental health.  Areas of focus could include but are not limited to (1)  psychological and contextual factors underlying the effects of racial inequity on human development (e.g., behavioral, physiological) across the lifespan, (2) factors that predict resilience in the context of racial injustice, and (3) impacts of policy, program, and community responses to racial inequity. For the first year of this position, the successful candidate will hold the title of Provost’s Distinguished Fellow, and will have no teaching and service responsibilities to allow a focus on research while receiving mentorship and support from two senior faculty members.
