Assistant Instructional Professors (2) in Psychology at the University of Florida

The Department of Psychology at the University of Florida is seeking applications for two Lecturer (working title Assistant Instructional Professor) positions in psychology to begin August 16, 2023. These positions are full-time, nine-month, renewable, non-tenure track position. The Department of Psychology is dedicated to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion. We particularly value candidates who engage students within and outside the classroom.

Although the area is open for both positions, preference will be given to candidates who are able to teach general courses in our Behavioral & Cognitive Neuroscience undergraduate track and/or Developmental Psychology, Research Methods, and other core courses. Successful candidates must also be willing to coordinate/supervise graduate students teaching a general psychology course. In addition, applicants are expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse undergraduate student population.
