Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Cognitive Psychology

The Department of Psychology at BARNARD COLLEGE, COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY seeks a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Cognitive Psychology, or a related subfield. Candidates should provide evidence of excellence in research, teaching, and advising, and are expected to establish an active, externally funded research program. Teaching responsibilities are four courses per year, including Cognitive Psychology and its laboratory component, an upper-level seminar in an area of specialization, and Behavioral Research Methods and Analysis.

 Applicants must have a Ph.D. in psychology or related discipline at time of appointment, a distinguished record of scholarly publication or promise of such, proven capacity for teaching excellence, as well as advising, at the college level, and ability and desire to perform service within the department, college, and university. Candidates are expected to establish an active, externally funded research program.
