Diversity Postdoctoral Faculty in Psychological Sciences at the University of San Diego
The Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of San Diego is interested in hosting a postdoc scholar in Psychology or Behavioral Neuroscience. We are particularly interested in someone who has a commitment to advance the perspectives of the Latinx/Chicanx community members through teaching opportunities, research/creative work, and mentoring. The postdoc scholar will be able to teach special topics courses in their area of interest within psychology or neuroscience. Scholars who could teach research methods, statistics, or capstone courses would be especially desired. Mentoring students on research projects and interdisciplinary research collaborations are also encouraged. Overall, the postdoctoral scholar would be expected to assume a collegial role in our department, including teaching, attending faculty meetings, serving on committees, mentoring students, and conducting research. Scholars could also participate in advising and leadership of campus student organizations (e.g., AChA, MEChA, SACNAS, United Front Multicultural Center) or other opportunities outside of the Department.
