Research Specialist at the Thompson-Schill Lab (Computational Neuroscience Initiative, University of Pennsylvania)
The Thompson-Schill Lab, in the Department of Psychology, seeks a Research Specialist to assist Dr. Sharon Thompson-Schill and other lab members in a variety of administrative tasks. The Research Specialist will have the opportunity to conduct independent and supervised research projects in service of the lab’s funded research topics relating to memory, learning, cognitive control, and language. Specifically, this involves designing psychology experiments (methods include fMRI, TMS, EEG, and eye-tracking), recruiting and running subjects, analyzing data, and presenting research. Position also requires successful candidate to draft, modify, and renew IRB documents; coordinate lab finances; register attendees for research conferences; purchase supplies and software licenses; and complete other administrative tasks as assigned.
