Full-Time Research Specialist in the Norman Lab, Princeton University
The Princeton Neuroscience Institute has a Research Specialist I position available in the lab of Professor Ken Norman. Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including designing, programming, and executing behavioral, EEG, ECoG, and fMRI experiments, data analysis, subject recruitment, and some administrative work. The research specialist will be assisting with studies of how episodic memory interacts with other memory systems to support event understanding. Depending on qualifications/interest, the research specialist may also assist with developing computational models of learning and memory using neural networks. - A bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, computer science, or a related quantitative field (e.g., physics, engineering) is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with machine learning methods for neural data analysis and strong programming skills.
